Oprah Summer Reading One minute book review

I am still trying to decide if I have time for this!

I so want to do it, but I'm not sure I can squeeze it in this week.

Check it out:

Produce a video one-minute review of a book you want to share with the world (and with O magazine readers.)

Here's the link!

Let me know if you do it, I'd love to watch yours, whether I can get my act together or not!

  1. So cool! I don't know if I'm brave enough to attempt it. Excited to see what people come up with!

  2. I feel the same way, Samantha-- I'd love to review Jellicoe Road, but I'm not sure I can pull it all together!

  3. Nope, not doing it. I hate seeing myself on video and I hate hearing the sound of my voice. Why would I torture the rest of you with that?

  4. My face does not need to be on the internet any more than it already is. Anyone else become weirdly aware of their face when on cam?

  5. No way! Not for me! I decided I'm not going to review things. If someone asks me about a book, or it comes up in a discusion, then I'm game. Otherwise...nope!

  6. I am with Sophia! I'm always very weirdly over-conscious of what my face is doing when I try to video myself for vblogs. Not saying I'll never do it, but right now I still find it too weird. >_>

  7. I hear you-- I don't like video of my face, either. I am not photogenic, and that works for video as well...

but I love the idea of sharing a book I love with others...
