The International Wrist Protection Society

Public service announcements. They're not sexy, but they're important.

By definition, these are campaigns that inform us about issues.

Do you ever wish you could create your own public service announcements?

In the world of blogging/writing or in real life?

I DO.

Here are some... share your ideas with me in the comments, or make your own!

  1. LOL! These are great!

I'm guilty of the confirmation insanity...only because I was being spammed every day for a month! It got frustrating. Don't hate me *grin*

    Cheers!

  2. These are great! I got a confirmation call for an appointment, called back, and was told the department was closed and I'd have to call back the next day! Arg!

  7. Lol, you're so cute! That would be nice. Another thing I would LOVE is a personal chatsite on my blog. Or is that already in order? *shrug*

Glad to meet ya, fellow crusader!

  9. Hi fellow crusader - great announcements! The one about including your blog on your profile is my fave - I hate when I can't find someone to follow them back.

  11. So funny, Katharine! And so necessary! I hate those dentist and doctor robo-calls.

I would remind people to please cover up when they sneeze.

Also that it's not necessary to tweet every waking moment about every little thing you do or think about. Just the important stuff, please!

  12. These are awesome! I wish confirmation things would disappear forever. And I agree about links to blogs. I wish they were all easy to follow :D

  13. I won't judge Jen- there definitely CAN be legitimate reasons for it.

    Thanks Aleeza. <3

OMG Witless! Did you scream right there on the spot? Maddening!

    Thanks Holly, awesome knows awesome.

Thanks Kate, I'll check it out!

Alicia- I know you have a zombie-themed PSA in that head of yours somewhere!

    A great one, Holly.

Glad to be of service Erin!

    Thanks Pam. :0)

Elizabeth, that might be possible, but i'm not the person to ask. :0)

Thanks Lynda and Rachel- really thrilled about the crusade!

Absolutely Susan, and you know it's just because people don't realize.

    Thanks Yahong.

Nice to meet you, too Carol.

  15. Hehe! The confirmation nightmare...where DOES it end, indeed.
And, yeah, why do people not have links to their blog on their profiles? Drives me nuts trying to figure out how to get back to visit when they follow me but don't leave a comment. 0_o

These were great. I also loved your answers in Nicole's blogfest (which I too participated in). Also, I am a fellow crusader. *waves*

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend,
    Lola

  18. Thanks Margo!

I agree Lola- it's frustrating, because it means fewer followers for them, and I'm sure they just don't realize.

    Thanks Zan and Gina!
