Happy Haul- iday from Chronicle Books

*****Update*****
I had to face the music, and update my list considering something that is critically important...

umm...

cost.

I tallied this list, and it's just over $1600 worth of books. Yikes!  So I thought it best to organize, cull, and reform the list with a dose of much-needed REALITY.

Here's a copy of my new, trim, ready for the holidays list. Comments should still be left on THIS post.

Just in, from the blog of Mrs. DeRaps.

Chronicle books is hosting this AMAZING contest, giving away up to $500 worth of books from their site.

Post a list of Chronicle Books valued at up to $500 that you’d like to haul in, and you’ll be automatically entered into a drawing to WIN your list of books!

And, one of your readers who comments on the post will win the list too!
Last day to submit entries is December 10th!

    Shooting Stars Mag- thanks!

YNL-totally, right? Walken is so fantastic. An autobiography of his would not normally be something I'd seek out, but I bet it's amazing.

  8. I think you DID go at least a teensy bit over $500!!! But what a great list! I have quite a few of yours on mine: The Worst-Case Scenario Survival Handbook Junior Edition boxed set, Blinkybugs, The Space Between Trees, MOMA Modern Play House, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, Masterpuppet Theatre, Olive, the Other Reindeer! I almost put Tartine Breads on mine, but then thought to meself, "Uh, yeah! Like YOU'RE really going to take the time to make those fancy schmancy breads!", so I ended up putting Fast Breads (more my style - LOL!) on my list instead! Good luck! I hope we win!

  21. So many books...so little time. I understand entirely, it was like being a kid in a candy store.

A wonderful list. Very different--for the most part--from the ones I selected See My List Here but a really delightful list nevertheless. I would absolutely love to win either one.
